2013:

Sailing schedule to be determined. Please write to us with desired vacation times!

You will join the good ship Wanderbird at the wonderful Spanish Caribbean Island of Culebra. This little Spanish Island is located only 19 miles east of Puerto Rico, and offers sunny days & cooling trade breezes. We will begin and end our week long cruise at this magical and undiscovered island. (About Culebra - How to Get There)

You’ll have the opportunity to snorkel, search for fresh coconuts, swim in pale blue warm salty water, hike in amazing cute little seaside towns, kayak along rocky & tropical shores, and feel the warm, white sand under your feet as you walk on post card beaches. The snorkeling around Culebra is outstanding. Hard and soft corals abound in the shallows and magnificent reefs encircle the island. Tropical fish and other sea life abound.

We will keep our eyes open for roaming wild horses originally brought by the Spaniards on Vieques, iguanas, wild chickens, numerous nesting seabirds, fishing bats, tropical & migratory birds, as well as green turtle, the endangered leatherback turtle and Culebra giant anole.

Not to mention that if you are a ‘foodie’ we’ll be serving up some of the freshest, most delicous local fare you have ever tasted. Whether you are joining us to celebrate the holidays, or for your family vacation, or for a group charter, or just to warm up with your toes in the sand... Life is good!
